| | Writing Masterclass In 2010 all students have been given the opportunity to choose creative writing as a co-curricular activity. The writing "masterclass" meets Monday afternoons, AB301, 3.30 – 4.30pm under the guidance of Kerrin Davidson, our resident writing tutor. The masterclass will replace the informal lunchtime writing group, known fondly for some years as "Crumbs on Toast". The aims of the group are unchanged: we aim to foster creative writing talent, to encourage students to move from the ideas stage to polished publication, and to enter writing competitions. Students who are looking for extension or to develop their writing skills are encouraged to take part. This change will allow more students to become involved in the group as there should now be fewer clashes with other lunchtime activities. Anyone is able to sign up for the masterclass, but regular attendance is expected.
